Neoprene Fishing Waders
Repair waders instantly with Mister Glue. Waders that are made from neoprene will melt using super glue or Krazy Glue. There are other glues that are specific for wader
repair but it very specific glue and cannot always be used for other materials. The beauty of Mister Glue is that it can be used on almost any material.
It is an industrial cyanoacrylate glue(same base as super glue) but has been distilled several times so that the solvents have been distilled out. The solvents in superglue are what melts or eats away at neoprene. So, it can be used for neoprene wader repair without damaging the material.
If you have a tear in the material run a bead along one edge then press them closely together. You do not have to hold the two sides together for more than a few seconds. Because the solvents have been distilled out the glue also dries flexible. Other cheaper glues will get brittle as they dry. It is also waterproof so that you can go back in the water within minutes.
As I mentioned earlier there are other glues that are specific to the task but as Mister Glue can be used for almost any material it is the only glue that you need to bring with you. It will repair neoprene waders, hypalon or rubber boats or rain gear and most of your fishing tackle.
Wetsuits and Diving Equipment
As Mister Glue will bond almost anything to anything (including your fingers) it will help mend all your snorkeling and diving equipment. It will bond rubber to rubber for your fins or rubber to metal for a knife handle. It will repair a tear in your diving suit and remain flexible and waterproof.
Mister Glue permanently welds rubber so for a diving suit that has torn or if a seam has come apart, dry the surface and run a very small bean on one side. Press the two surfaces together and within a few short seconds you can go back in the water.
Snorkels and masks can be repaired instantly as well if there is a tear or a gasket or seam separates. As Mister Glue will bond two different materials together very well you can bond plastic to rubber as well. If you have a mask or other accessory that is leaking run a small bead along the seam and it will be fixed. Make sure that the surface is dry and clean before you apply the glue.
Mister Glue works best when the fit is completely flush. The tighter the fit the better the bond. So, make sure that the two surfaces fit together snugly. Also, Mister Glue is very, very quick. Once you have the two pieces together, particularly with rubber, you will have no time to move them around to get them in the 'right' place. So, before you apply the glue, practice putting the two pieces together so you know where they are going.
