Glue Metal to Wood
Put the instant glue on the metal side. Wood is porous so you may lose some of the effectiveness if you put it there when you are gluing these two dissimilar materials. The tighter the fit the better the bond with Mister Glue so you don’t want to put so much that when you press the two pieces together there is a gap. Do not try to cover the whole surface. If you make sure that the edges are covered so that moisture won’t get in and some in the middle that should do the trick. It does depend on how large the surfaces are as well.
Put the glue on the metal then press the two sides together. There is no rush to get them together as this instant glue will not ‘set’ until the two surfaces are pressed against each other.
Give it a few seconds to bond then leave to fully cure. This can take a few hours but generally within a few minutes one can move and handle the glued object.
