How to Fix Glasses - loose screws:

Fix glasses almost instantly with a tiny drop of glue. Eye glasses repair kits are handy but most of the time the screws are not a perfect match and they can come out, they get loose and annoying and they fall out at the most inopportune times. . If you know you have a loose screw (on your glasses!) then you can fix it very easily and pretty much permanently with Mister Glue. I fixed one 3 years ago and it is still solidly in there. Fix glasses as soon as you notice the screws are loose and you won't have to replace the original with something that does not fit.

You need only the tiniest drop. Because you are using so little it is best to use a pin or toothpick or something to take a drop of Mister Glue to place it on the screw that is loose on your glasses frame. I make sure that the screw is backed off about 3/4 turn from being tight. Place a drop of glue on top of the screw - it will wick in - and then tighten the screw quickly. I would also advise putting the glasses on a flat surface so they are stable and if there is a drop that gets loose then it won't hurt what is underneath. It acts as Loctite - completely locking the screw in place.

Let it dry for a little while or the fumes can irritate your eyes. Mister Glue is a cyanoacrylate like super glue or Krazy Glue so use it in a well ventilated area. Similar products are Rhino glue, The Last Glue, Miracle Glue and Max 1.

Mister Glue is completely biodegradable and is non toxic once dry.
