for Mister Glue's Accelerator

Accelerator

Mister Glue is quite strong and fast on its own but occasionally, with some materials it needs a little help.  Use the Accelerator with porous materials.  Wood, terra cotta and others where you find the glue soaking in too fast.  Apply the Accelerator to one side and let it sit exposed to air for 20-30 seconds.  There is a small applicator brush attached to the cap.  Use that.  Apply Mister Glue to the other side.  Then press the two pieces together.  It is very important to get an exact fit, so I recommend practising a little before applying the glue or Accelerator.  Make sure you know how the pieces will fit together and that they fit very snugly.  The closer, tighter the fit, the better the bond.  Most materials only take 10-15 seconds for a secure bond.  Some materials may take up to 30-40 seconds to set.  This is not very long compared to most other glues.  Full cure time is about 6-7 hours.  I have taken ceramic dishes repaired with just the glue and within a couple of hours broken them again with a hammer and they would break elsewhere from the original break.
